Driving in India is a Challenge
Last decade and a half has seen a phenomenal rise in the number of vehicles plying the Indian roads. Increased buying power meant two wheeler owners graduated to cars and car owners bought more cars. Liberal loan policies added to the buyer’s capacity without realizing whether there is any space on the roads.
Road the Finest Classroom!
Learning begins by unlearning. I have this understood when driving on Indian highways and roads. The driving schools teach you the traffic rules. One of which includes acting in accordance with the traffic signals. But if you were to follow the meaning of traffic signals and waited for the light to turn green, probably it might turn red again before you’ve managed to go across.
Road Traffic not Sans Pedestrians
Wherever roads have been widened or flyover passes have been built pedestrians’ safety and convenience has got a severe battering.
