If you multiply this number by six, you will determine the number of times your heart is beating per minute. At rest, a normal heart rate will fall between 60 and 80 beats per minute. A strong heart rate during exercise will measure between 120 and 160 beats per minute. Be careful not to let your heart rate go too high.
