Struggling Societal Strains and The True Purpose of God

If one were to watch the news, the views would be clearly evident. Especially in America. We have these clear and on track for a secular society. Of course, that is what this nation is, a secular society. No matter how much we think our heritage is a godly one, this thinking is vanishing quickly. Simply put, to many want our society secular and totally religious. This religious nature is not, however to include the trappings of Christianity or its Christ. This nature is not to include the bitter struggle of being saved by faith. To many in this nation, having to be saved is terrible. They see themselves as good already. Who needs to be saved and why do we have to follow this Jesus? This is the debate that goes on in this nation daily. The other portions of the viewpoints divide it into the liberal and conservative camps. This division makes the strident claims that liberals are democrats and conservatives are republicans. Without debating this issue, I also put forth that although this view is mainstream, for the believer it is mute.
I know this because God the Father doesn't divide the human race that way. He sent his son, Jesus Christ [Messiah Yeshua] to save the whole world. The whole world lies in sin. All men and women everywhere have sinned. The human race consists of those who believe in the Son.

John 17:1 ¶These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

The issue for Jesus Christ on this earth was his mission for the Father. It was a work he was given to do. he left glory, which he had before the world was. Jesus had power over all flesh. Jesus said of this that his work was to give eternal life to as many that would believe. (The word believe here is : trust in, rely on, and cling too. It is a word with action and dedication. It is not merely head knowledge saying there is a God. Remember, The devil believes also and trembles). The main issue was this. He came that men and women would know (insight, knowledge, repentance, and illumination into God the Father) the One True God (not Allah, or some other God-full of mercy and goodness) and Jesus Christ (Messiah Yeshua, the fulfillment of the O.T. prophecies) whom the Father sent. It would be through this union of purpose of the Father and the Son, then the coming of the Holy Spirit when Christ ascended that would navigate the full courses of Gods salvation plan in the world.

Many today in America are simply religious Christians. They have been taught and wrongly, that to be in union with God meant to be in union with mans denominations and ways. The issue here for many is that the only way to be born again is through the Spirit of God. You cannot be brought into the kingdom of God by a church, pastor, theologian, or some other man made way. It is a Spiritual re-birth. Over the years man has made the teaching of this re-birth into many other things. As a result, men and women go to church every time the door opens. The thinking is that this will get them to heaven. This is not the case. When you are born again, the Spirit of God comes to live on the inside of you. Literally, you take the kingdom of God with you. You don't go to church to find the church. Those who are Christ's true followers are the Church of the living God.

Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Having said that, we move on. To understand fully that we as believers meet together. Whether under a tree, in mud hut, a barn, or even in a fancy mega-building church, believers gather. It is in that meeting of believers who are born again that the church exists. Christ said where "two or more are gathered in my name, There am I in the midst". Why is Christ in the midst? Does Jesus Christ watch from heaven and comes to meetings where only two are? Does he focus on these groups and quickly dispatch angels too there meetings? No, he does not. Christ is with us always. He said "he is in the midst", to remind people that when believers gather, they are bringing Christ with them. He is in their midst, literally. Angels are in the presence also as ministering spirits of fire, who help the saints in the following of the Lords commands.

Psalms 104:4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

Hebrews 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Thus, as society is clearly secular in nature. So too, is the opposite nature of the Church of God. This church is blood washed, Spiritual born again followers of their sovereign Lord, Jesus Christ. They attend meetings, who many call church. But they are there in fellowship, compassion, servitude, and teaching. They attend because believers gather together in common bonds produced by the inner workings of Gods Spirit. This inner working is called sanctification. It produces a nature, with sets aside their motives for the motives and purposes of God. All this is lubricated and fueled by Gods love which flows through his children. That is why Christ said of this "By this shall all men know you are my disciples, that you love one another". Having said this, now look at the denomination's today that claim to follow Jesus Christ. They are divided, unlovable to each other, and divisive.

While the news can divide the good conservatives and the bad liberals or vise-versa, in Gods purposes this is not so. He looks on the heart of man. His is a world that is above our thinking and rationale. He brings the society man into two groups. Two only. It is not divided into the Catholics and Protestants. It is not divided into democrats and republicans. It is not divided into homosexuals and non homosexuals. It is not divided into Christians and Muslims. It is not divided into east and west. Gods program consists of those who are saved [not condemned] and un-saved [condemned]. God is bringing all the world formerly divided into Jews and Gentiles into one camp, under one banner. That banner is Jesus Christ, Messiah Yeshua, The Son of the Living God.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

The societal strains that are in America will continue. I have seen, heard, and experienced bigotry and hatred from all sides. Whether black, white, Jew, or Gentile, man or woman, all have sinned. All need to be redeemed by Christ. While the news touts and fights the liberal conservative battle, Christians should be focused on God the Fathers program. This is what Jesus Christ did. He did all that the Father told him to do. Jesus tells us "if you love me, you will keep my commandments". The commandments he gives are, "love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, mind and soul, and love thy neighbor as thyself." Walking in love, then we can share it with others. While sharing it, we can tell of Gods Plan of salvation. Delivering man from some devils' hell. Hell was not made for man. It was for the devil and his angels. God sent his son so man would not have to go there. God literally commanded "men everywhere to repent". Why? So God in his justice could forgive them and grant them a place with him in heaven.

This is our Goal, project, and aim. While the news, the world, and society concern themselves with many things, we must be about our Lords' business. Remember, His business is also the Fathers.
