You don't want to invest time and money in something that there is no market for. Once you have determined there is a market for the niche you are thinking of venturing into, the next thing you want to do is check your competition. If you are starting out with a limited budget, you cannot expect to compete with large companies that have infinite resources to market their goods. This is why it is good to go after a sub market or niche within a larger one. These are great businesses to get into because they cost hardly anything to start and you can make money almost instantly.
