Buying for the man in your life can sometimes be a bit discouraging, especially if you want to introduce him to some different styles. Many men are very set in their ways and will stick with the style of clothing that they've always worn instead of trying something new. If this is the case there are some things that you can do to get your guy to expand his wardrobe and wear something out of his comfort zone. A great way to introduce your man to something different is if you're both going to be attending a wedding. You can insist that he buy a new suit and tie... and that you're just the one to help him make his selection. This is your chance to pick out something stylish and modern so that he gets a feel for wearing something other than his old suit. He may go back to those jeans and tshirts the minute you get home but at least he's had a taste of what it feels like to dress it up a bit. Another way that you can get your guy to put away his jeans is to buy him something new for his birthday. Start off with something small and don't be too daring in your purchase. You don't want to scare him into never wearing what you bought, or anything other than his jeans, but you do want him to give it a try. Ask him to wear his new shirt and pants out to dinner...just for you! This way you're taking small steps towards getting your man to add some variety to his closet. You might want to take him along shopping with you so that he can choose something that he likes to try. This may save you the heartache of having him reject everything that you buy without his approval. No matter what, don't give up, even if it means he'll only wear that one shirt just for you.
