Now say it with me: "Real Products and Services". Yes folks, that is what we are trying to sell here, but what do we find? Internet marketers and "web-conversion" gurus speaking and writing endlessly about how to market, how to convert, how to include affiliates, and Adsense, AdWords and ClickBank, PPC and "buy my course today for secret tactics nobody is using!" It's all Bull crap... Unless there is a REAL honest to goodness product or service (I am not talking about the damn marketing course! marketing about marketing is recursively redundant!) there is nothing but a lot of hot air, wasted web-space, and soon to be disillusioned Internet marketers buying up every course they see, but never actually getting a working money producing site. Guess what: Within the vast unstructured information world of the Internet is every bit of information you will ever need for marketing your product or service and it is all free. If you pay for some course from some self appointed guru including yours truly you are wasting your money! Do the work and find it. I'll bet you can find 95% of it at ezinearticles (And that is NOT an endorsement, just a statement of fact). Go out a get a good book on marketing. Sell real stuff, like radios or cell phones or cars or real-estate, or whatever. Building a network of a million stupid garbage sites with the hope that low-bid AdWords and Adsense clicks will earn you money is a fools errand. A network of quality sites with quality content that you update on a consistent basis WILL earn you income if you aggressively market it. If you think that you can buy some package of a 1000 web-sites with a million pages where the seller has done "all the work for you" and just put it up on a domain and reel in the cash, then you are truly a dum-dum. Do I really have to tell you that? If you fall for the ruse "Here is a scanned picture of my last Google paycheck" you get what you deserve, which is a gazillion web-sites nobody is ever going to visit, let alone click on anything. There are thousands of others with the same package. Guess who is making money on that stuff? The guy selling it on Ebay for $5.00 a pop, and if you check it out you will see there are hundreds of those and they don't get many bids. Use the brain God gave you! Do some work. Sell something that has real value, a real product or service! That is how real people create real wealth. I write software products, web-sites, and sell ad copy. Those are real things that have real value. Then I market them. Lets cut the bull, this article is another way in which I hope to market those things. It is content. The thing most new marketers who fall for the automated ad-click mega web-site network ruse fail to recognize is that money is scarce. It can be created or destroyed, but there is never as much as there is desire for it. This fact alone makes automated web-site click through schemes doomed to failure. Perhaps the very first entrants into these schemes might make some cash, and the sellers of the site packages may, but most of the players are doomed to abject failure because the saturation is quickly reached, the content is massively duplicated, and the content is crappy to begin with. And people want real value for their money so they will go elsewhere. And that is true for the advertisers who are bidding on AdWords. They want to be on sites where real clicks lead to real sales. They will stop bidding if Google does not make sure they get value for their dollar, and so Google makes sure that auto-generated sites get de-listed or ignored. Okay this has been a bit of a rant, but it is also true. You ignore it at your own peril. Happy Marketing!
