It's never too early to start practicing Wicca! There are a lot of resources out there for the burgeoning teen witch. Lots of the books on Wicca that are available are appropriate for a new witch, but it's important to remember that no one author knows all the answers. Therefore, it's important, especially when you're just starting out, to think critically about everything you read. Not everyone is honest, especially if you decide to use the Internet to help your search, and some people prey specifically on questioning teenagers. Then there's dealing with your parents, who may disapprove of your spiritual choices. First, remember that your parents have the law on their side, so do your best to work within their wants. Minors are effectively second class citizens, so your parents really are the ones with the power! If you want to pursue a discussion with your disapproving parents about Wicca, try and figure out why your parents are opposed to your interest in witchcraft. Is it because they practice a religion that disagrees with Wiccan practices? Is it because they don't really know what Wicca is about? Maybe they have some ideas about Wicca that aren't true; for example they may be likening it to Satanism, and therefore might be worried for your safety. If the issue is misconceptions about Wicca, then you have a chance at opening a dialogue with them. You can try and educate them, sharing your adventures into Wicca with them. It might help, for example, to show them some of the books and websites you've read or are reading. If you have Wiccan friends who are good people, you might introduce them, so that your parents can see that the majority of those who follow Wicca are healthy people who don't sacrifice goats in their spare time! If you choose the education route, make sure that you are well read and have done your research. After all, you will have to be able to support your beliefs, not only through emotion but through logic and the strength of your sources. Remember that your parents care about you, and only want you to be happy and safe. If you can prove to them that Wicca is not a threat to either your happiness or your safety, then you're well on your way to bringing them around to your side. Just remember, there is no "rule" that you absolutely have to tell anyone that you are a practicing Wiccan.
