Generational War, Opposing and Contradicting The Will of God

Perverse means " a disposition to oppose and contradict". This means that this word describes a society in the world as one which opposes and contradicts. In the biblical sense, this means that this society opposes God's rule and laws. It opposes the conviction of sin, the need for salvation, and all it entails. Society contradicts this by following the lies of the adversary. The adversary, the devil, follows the carnal nature of man. Jesus Christ pointed this out in a rebuke to Peter when he spoke directly to Satan saying "Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savoriest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men." (Matt 16:23) This adversary knows the weakness of the flesh. He therefore, brings those who opposes Gods' rule to a point of total opposition and contradiction.

When the bible says something is wrong. The adversary brings in an opposite word. The battle really heats up when the adversary brings in 'angels of light' who are darkened warriors of Satan. Paul pointed this out when he told the Corinthians "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." (2 Corinthians 11:14 ). Then Peter mentioned these 'angels of light' in a stern warning:

2 Peter 2:1 ¶But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

This is what the adversary does. He convinces a world that is perverse, that is already opposing and contradicting Gods laws that what they are doing is right. David the Psalmist spoke about this thing:

Psalms 2:1 ¶Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

This contradictory manner is vanity in action. For it will do no good. The rebellious nature of mankind says "let us break the bands of God away from us". "Let us cast off all His rules." "God cannot stop us." "He doesn't interfere in this world anymore." As this society continues in its final breakaway from God, they will think it is successful. For the time is coming when the 'man of lawlessness', 'the son of perdition' will arrive on the scene. This man will bring the world a total delusion. They will see him as a Savior. He will be a God to them. Through deceivableness and every evil he has, this adversarial opponent to God will be given the power to oppose God himself. He will speak great words against the Lord and his kingdom. He will speak against the Jews, Christians, and anyone who opposes him. His most successful diatribe will be against the Most High. Daniel mentioned this, hundreds of years ago.

Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

As this society falls headlong into this deception, where will you be? As a believer we are admonished to live as 'lights' amidst this generation of rebellion against God. Many believers today are hoping in the Rapture to occur. This way they won't be around when this really comes to the boiling point. However, Jesus admonished us to pray this prayer and watch.

Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

The believer is told to pray that they may be accounted worthy to escape all these things. This is in the prophetic discourse that Jesus spoke to the disciples about. It is found in the gospels. Nowhere is the Body of Christ told to watch for the Rapture. They are told to pray the prayer above. Whether we actually go as many believe or not is mute right now. For today, we live in that faithless and perverse generation.

The rebellion of society and its opposition to God and his rule is heating up. Even many Pastors, theologians, and churches have sided with the worlds view on many issues. For these carnal Christians the wrath of God may be abiding on them. That is depending on their repentance. The bible calls these Christians 'sons of disobedience'. The Apostle Paul warns us this way:

Ephesians 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Colossians 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

The question for you today is this. Where do you stand? Are you rebellious and opposes God and his rule? Do you oppose his ruling on homosexuality, murder, incest, fornication, theft, and other issues wrong? Do you oppose his 'salvation' through his son Jesus Christ (Messiah Yeshua) wrong? Do you contradict this by bringing in your own way of salvation or your own way of believing? Whether you really believe so or not, God will have the last say so through Jesus Christ.

Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

I admonish you today to seek our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ( Messiah Yeshua) today...Repent, believe, and follow Him...The Watchman
