Embrace The Christian Millionaire

One of the most misquoted verses in the Bible is

Money is the root of all evil.

As a Christian entrepreneur, I have had that verse stated to me on more than one occasion. The actual verse from Timothy 6:10 is:

For the love of money is the root of all evil.
Big difference.

The purpose of this article is not to quote scripture from the Bible and pontificate on how much scripture one person knows versus another.
The purpose of the article is to communicate that it is o.k. to be wealthy.

Many Christians have serious heartburn when they see one of their own promoting a life of abundance. They wonder how such a Godly person can be driven by money.
Well, let me ask the following questions:

How do mission trips get funded?
How to orphanages get built?
How to hospitals get built?
How are homeless shelters funded?

Whether you like it or not, the answer is money.

Yes it is true, God owns all the silver and the gold, and it is not ours. We are to act as good stewards of His money.

However, I am unaware of any passage in the Bible that states we must be poor to enter the Kingdom.
Please do not refer to this verse-
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom.

Once again, that verse applies to the rich person who hoards all their money, never giving any of it back.

Do you think God is proud of Bill Gates and Warren Buffet? These two individuals are using billions of dollars they made in their businesses to cure many of the ills prevalent in third world countries.

I challenge anyone to emulate these two titans of the business world. You do not have to be a billionaire to make a difference.

However, there are many great business avenues to travel as a Christian if you want to lead a life of prosperity.

One that has made me very wealthy is a Christian network marketing business.
It has allowed me to spend time with my family, earn a substantial income and tithe incredible amounts of money to my church and community.

What better group of people to be financially free than Christians?
It is the epitome of money transferring to the hands of the righteous.
Step out in faith and allow yourself to think in terms of financial abundance.

God loves a cheerful giver.

The question is: If you become a millionaire, will you become a cheerful giver?

Having money is not bad.
When money has you, you are in trouble.
