Don't feel down, your productive life doesn't have to end with asthma. Even though adult asthma can be serious, can threaten your life, and can take some getting used to, learning and a steady effort can keep it from taking control. Remember that even if you are diagnosed with adult asthma you can have a very long and regular life. You will probably just have to make a little change here and there. You'll get used to keeping from those things that aggravate your asthma, just listen to your doctor. If you are told to take medicine, take it. If you are given an inhaler, be sure to have it with you at all times. If your asthma is more serious an inhaler can save your life. After a time you can put your adult asthma to the back burner of your mind so you can contol it, and keep it from controlling you.
